St. Mary’s Medical Center is proud to announce the opening of its brand-new Kosher Room, a dedicated space designed to support the dietary and spiritual needs of Jewish patients and their families. The room was officially unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week and was made possible through a meaningful partnership with Healing Hearts.
Conveniently located on the hospital’s first floor, the Kosher Room offers a welcoming and thoughtfully equipped environment, including:
- Glatt Kosher and Cholov Yisroel food, with a variety of perishable and non-perishable items
- Kitchen facilities, including a refrigerator, electric pot for hot water, coffee station, and cold beverages
- Two microwaves, designated separately for dairy and meat
- Comfortable seating, providing a quiet area for rest and reflection
- Spiritual resources, such as prayer books, reading materials, and hospital-safe Shabbat packages
