This past year was a busy one for BCMA during my time as the Association’s President. Our activities including the launch of our new Business of Medicine events, engaging with legislators in the district and during our trip to Tallahassee in December, collaborating with stakeholders on the future of healthcare in our community, and much more. And as we look ahead, I encourage you to join me at BCMA’s Presidential Inauguration and 100-Year Anniversary Celebration on January 31st.
Along with our honored guests, Dr. Alma Littles, Florida Medical Association President-Elect, and Dr. Bobby Mukkamala, President, American Medical Association, we are thrilled to celebrate this historic milestone for our Association. We are also excited to partner with Kristi Krueger, anchor and health reporter WPLG Local 10, as our Master of Ceremonies. I invite you to support the special occasion by purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor, and helping us commemorate the past while investing in the future of the BCMA. Visit bcma.com for details.
We are proud to honor our 2025 award recipients and healthcare leaders during this celebration. As the Association marks 100 years of physician leadership, advocacy, and service in Broward County, this year’s recognitions highlight the individuals and institutions whose impact has shaped the future of healthcare in the region.
