Dr. Nergess Taheri serves as Program Director of the Lakeside Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Belle Glade, where she trains and mentors family medicine physicians in Florida’s only rural teaching hospital. In this leadership role, she helps strengthen access to quality health care in underserved communities while shaping the next generation of physicians.

In addition to her residency leadership, Dr. Taheri is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment at the Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s Belle Glade Community Health Center. As part of the District’s Federally Qualified Health Center network, she provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families regardless of insurance status.

Dr. Taheri earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (MSBI) from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Lakeside Medical Center, where she chose to remain and serve the community.
