Jasmine Baboolal, R.N., BSN, is an Assistant Nurse Manager at Broward Health Coral Springs in the telemetry monitoring and patient observation unit. She began her career at Broward Health seven years ago as a new RN resident in a medical surgical unit and quickly advanced to charge nurse of a 33-bed inpatient floor. Her early leadership journey was profoundly shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic.
With more than three years of experience in a dual leadership and clinical support role, Baboolal balances administrative responsibilities while frequently serving as charge nurse.
Originally earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she was inspired to pursue nursing after hearing stories from a registered nurse about caring for patients in vulnerable moments. A defining COVID experience—reuniting a critically ill husband and wife for their final anniversary—continues to guide her approach to care, reinforcing her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care that supports patients both medically and emotionally.
