Moffitt Cancer Center and Walgreens kicked off their first partnership, the “Make A Difference” campaign, to raise money and awareness in the fight against cancer. The event raised $223,090.47.
 
During the “Make A Difference” campaign, Walgreens customers purchased and signed $1 and $5 “Make A Difference” circles in stores to benefit diversity research programs at Moffitt. The campaign took place in nearly 300 stores throughout the West Coast of Florida and in south Georgia during June.
