Lee Memorial Health System is pleased to announce Douglas J. Gottschalk, D.O., as the newest member joining the professional staff of The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. Specializing in pediatric ear, nose and throat medicine (ENT), Dr. Gottschalk will work alongside other pediatric specialists in the Women’s and Children’s Medical Plaza in south Fort Myers.Dr. Gottschalk joins the System from Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas where he served as the Deputy Chairman in the Department of Otolaryngology. He also served as a lieutenant colonel in the medical corps of the United States Air Force before joining The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida team.
