ChildNet, Broward County’s Community Based Care (CBC) lead agency and the single private non-profit entity responsible for administration of the local child welfare system under a contract with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), was recently named to manage the child welfare system in Palm Beach County.Larry Rein has been named to the new post of Executive Director of ChildNet in Palm Beach County. Rein has been with ChildNet in Broward County since its inception in 2002 as Vice President of Network Development.
Prior to joining ChildNet, Rein administered a Florida Department of Education grant-funded project to provide and monitor a comprehensive system of care for Broward County Public School students with or at risk of emotional disturbance.
