ACO Workshop

In January 2014, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that of the 114 ACOs that started operations in 2012, 29 earned shared savings totaling more than $126 million. Now, representatives from those 29 successful ACOs are sharing their secrets at an “invitation only” workshop on March 27 and 28 at Innisbrook Golf and Spa Resort in Palm Harbor, FL. The seminar begins on Thursday at 5 p.m. and concludes Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. Topics addressed at the session will include why EHRs are not the only answer, how to put money in physicians’ pockets, the effective use of Medicare data and techniques that engage physicians.
