The Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s newest board member, Albert Borroto, was recently appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners for a four-year volunteer term.
Borroto brings more than 30 years of experience in emergency medical services with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. His diverse career reflects a deep commitment to public safety, with roles such as a flight nurse on the Health Care District’s Trauma Hawk helicopters, an RN in the JFK Medical Center emergency room, and a public information officer for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Currently, he serves as the communications coordinator for the Professional Firefighters Local 2928. Borroto holds degrees in emergency management services and nursing from Palm Beach State College.
