Alysa Herman, M.D., and Karent Sierra, DDS, have been named to the Board of Directors of South Miami Hospital.
Dr. Herman is a dermatologist with Skin and Cancer Associates in South Miami. She is on the medical staffs of Baptist, South Miami and Doctors Hospitals. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Herman is a voluntary associate professor of dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of Miami.
Joining Dr. Herman on the South Miami Hospital Board of Directors is Dr. Sierra, a dentist in private practice in Coral Gables. Dr. Sierra specializes in cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorations. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association and serves as an instructor for the Florida Dental Boards.
