Anish Alexander, R.N., M.S.N., has been promoted to Nurse Manager of Ortho/Bariatric/Surgical at Broward Health Coral Springs. Anish has been serving as the Assistant Nurse Manager on 4 West since October 2016 and most recently as Interim Assistant Nurse Manager for 4 North as well. He began his nursing career at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas , TX where he worked for 6 years as a medical-surgical/trauma unit nurse and as a nursing supervisor. He then went on to work at Green Oaks Hospital/HCA North Texas in Dallas, TX as a psychiatric nurse and eventually a Coordinator for Quality Management/Infection Control/Employee Health before relocating to South Florida.
Anish received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Tyler and his Masters of Science in Nursing Administration from University of Texas at Arlington. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Education and is SAMA (Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression)-certified as well.
