June 9, 2021– University Hospital and Medical Center, a 317-bed acute care hospital and a leader in breakthrough orthopedic care and joint replacement surgery in South Florida, has acquired another da Vinci Xi robotic system for minimally invasive surgery. The new addition will complement the organizations’ state-of-the-art existing da Vinci XI and MAKO orthopedic robotic systems to support more precise surgical procedures and shorter recovery periods.

June 8 2021 – Wellington Regional Medical Center has been named a Comprehensive Stroke Center by DNV, reflecting the highest level of accreditation for treatment of serious stroke events.
