West Palm Beach VA partners with Indian River State College to host a mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic

April 12 2021 – The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is proud to partner with the Indian River State College to host a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on April 14, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in  Vero Beach (6155 College Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32966). The Clinic will offer the single dose Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine to all Veterans (of any age), all spouses of Veterans and all Caregivers of Veterans by appointment or as a walk-in.

April 12, 2021 — Family history of early cardiac events in first degree relatives such as a parent or sibling is a major risk factor, especially for premature events. Currently, data on risks in close relatives of patients with a family history of premature heart attacks, chronic stable angina or peripheral vascular disease are sparse.

NICKLAUS CHILDREN’S AND KOHL’S CARES PARTNER TO PROVIDE FOOD ASSISTANCE DURING THE PANDEMIC THROUGH #GIVEME5 PROGRAM

APRIL 9, 2021 –  Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Kohl’s Cares are providing food assistance to patient families during the pandemic with a new pilot program that helps eligible families buy healthy groceries. So far, more than 100 patient families have received assistance since the Nicklaus Children’s #GiveMe5 Food Pantry initiative began in January of this year.
