The staff and physicians at The Aventura Breast Diagnostic Center are very excited to be able to offer the newest technology for breast cancer detection, digital mammography,” said Alanna Harris, M.D., Medical Director of the Aventura Breast Diagnostic Center. “Digital mammography allows radiologists to view the x-ray image closely zeroing in on suspicious or concerning areas, lowers the needs for retakes, reducing radiation exposure and improves sensitivity in younger patients and dense breast.”
