| Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is proud to welcome Dr. Jonathan Cross and the Honorable Billy Joel to the Board of Trustees. |
 Dr. Cross has been member of the medical staff of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center since 2000. He is actively involved in the Stroke Center program. Dr. Cross participates in the orientation and training of new nurses at Aventura Hospital. |
 Joel has served as Aventura Commissioner since first running in March 2005. He has held several leadership positions as commissioner including, for a time, the position of Vice Mayor. |
