March 18, 2022 — With a focus on maintaining a patient-centered culture across the organization, Baptist Health South Florida today announced

Patricia Rosello

has been named to the newly created role of Chief Patient Experience Officer for the organization. In this role, Rosello will focus on maintaining an aligned, meaningful, high-quality patient experience across the health system.

“Patricia keenly understands the importance of the patient experience in overall care and is a tireless advocate for our patients and families,” said Baptist Health President and Chief Operating Officer, Bo Boulenger. “Our patients are at the core of what we do as a healthcare system, and Patricia’s leadership in this area will help us ensure that we are always working to provide the best possible experience for our patients while they’re in our care.”

Rosello has been with Baptist Health for 25 years, and has served in various roles across the organization. Since 2018, she has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Hospital, where she led the pandemic response for the hospital of approximately 950 beds, 5,000+ employees and 1,300 members of the medical staff.  Under her leadership, Baptist Hospital was recognized by Healthgrades as a leading hospital in early COVID care for providing exceptional care while treating the highest volumes of coronavirus patients.

“Caring for our patients is at the heart of our work. An important part of this is ensuring that they have an excellent, high-quality experience throughout their journey with us,” said Rosello.  “Throughout their encounters with Baptist Health, we want our patients to know they are welcomed and cared for, with an outstanding care team working for them. I am excited to work with our teams to deliver an exceptional experience for our patients.”

Prior to her tenure at Baptist Hospital, Rosello served as Chief Executive Officer for Baptist Outpatient Services, where she grew and expanded the imaging, urgent care, express care and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. She joined Baptist Health South Florida in 1997 as the Vice President for Ambulatory Services.
