Richard A. Gold, Chief Executive Officer of North Ridge Medical Center, has announced the appointment of Barbara Sverdlik, MN, BSN, as the hospitals Chief Nursing Officer.
Sverdlik previously was Director of Nursing at Emory Healthcare, where she supervised the activities of 11 nursing departments within Emory Hospitals, including Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery and General Surgery.
Sverdlik received both her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing from Emory University in Atlanta. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and a recipient of the 2004 Georgia Organization of Nurse Leaders Presidents Award.
