The road to becoming a physician includes extensive training and development. Medical students from The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University will embark on their next medical journey at Bethesda Health.

There are currently 16 medical students completing their clinical clerkships at Bethesda. The medical students will participate in two six month longitudinal integrated clerkships with clinical experiences in Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesia, Community and Preventive Health, Radiology, Pathology, and Emergency Medicine. The third year clinical clerkships for medical students are a critical part of the medical school experience during which students acquire clinical skills, as well as sharpen their knowledge of clinical medicine and how the healthcare system functions. The students will work both under the supervision of Bethesda staff and Florida Atlantic University faculty.
