Alberto Pieretti, MD Samuel Trosman, MD

August 29,  2022 – Cleveland Clinic Weston welcomes board-certified surgeons, Alberto Pieretti, MD and Samuel Trosman, MD.

“Drs. Pieretti and Trosman bring specialized knowledge and experience to their individual fields of urology and head and neck oncology,” said Rodolfo J. Blandon, MD, MBA, President of Cleveland Clinic Weston. “Their expertise will help support our mission to provide the highest quality customized treatment option for each patient.”

Alberto Pieretti, MD, earned his medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas and completed general surgery and urology residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He went on to complete a urologic oncology fellowship at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Pieretti is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology.

He has co-authored 24 peer-reviewed articles and conference presentations related to urological topics and holds professional memberships in the Society of Urologic Oncology, American Urological Association and the American College of Surgeons.

Upon earning his medical degree at University of Illinois College of Medicine, Samuel Trosman, MD, completed an otolaryngology residency at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He completed a fellowship in head & neck oncology/microvascular reconstruction at the University of Miami and is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic’s Weston Hospital, Dr. Trosman was Director, Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at James J. Peters VA Medical Center in New York. He has co-authored 24 research publications and holds professional memberships in the American Head and Neck Society, and American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
