September 15, 2020 – Board-certified urologist Blake Evans, M.D., FACS, joins BocaCare Physician Network, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Evans has experience in robotic and laparoscopic surgery including management of prostate cancer, bladder cancer and kidney cancer. He also has extensive experience in the management of stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, and other general urologic issues.

Dr. Evans joins BocaCare from Lee Health in Fort Myers.  Previously, he served as the interim chair of the Department of Surgery at Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral.
 
His research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including the Current Opinion in Urology and Comprehensive Textbook of Prostate Cancer. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
 
Dr. Evans earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his urologic training at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
 
He will see patients at 10 East Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton.
