Doctors at Boca Raton Community Hospital (BRCH) announced the acquisition of the EnSite Velocity Cardiac Mapping System. This technology is the latest version in three-dimensional mapping systems used in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. With this technology, cardiologists who specialize in the treatment of irregular heartbeats (electrophysiologists) can now visualize the heart in 3D. This, in turn, enhances the physicians ability to maneuver a catheter throughout the heart and increases control over its placement in specific locations.
