Brijesh P. Mehta, M.D., Director of Stroke and Neurocritical Care at Memorial Healthcare System, Named Caregiver of the Year

With immense dedication to stroke prevention, Dr. Mehta is an inspiration to peers, staff, patients, and the community served by Memorial Healthcare System. As a Medical Director of Stroke and Neurocritical Care in the Neuroscience Institute, he approaches each day with a passion for quality patient care.

 

Prior to Joining Memorial Healthcare System, Dr. Mehta trained for eight years at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, both leading teaching institutions for Harvard Medical School. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelors of Science degree in biology from Emory University.
