Five nurses from Broward General Medical Center (BGMC) were recently inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
Each of the inductees attend Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. The group includes Marlo Proctor, nurse manger of the atrium respiratory care unit and tower step-down; Kim Kearney, assistant nurse manager of the atrium intensive care unit; Hope White, staff nurse in critical care unit and the cardiovascular intensive care unit; Elaine Miller, nurse manager of the atrium intensive care unit; Lisa Bergeron, clinical specialist of the atrium intensive care unit, atrium respiratory care units and tower step-down and Donna Walters, staff RN for critical care unit and cardiovascular intensive care unit.
