Broward Health hosted a “White Coat” ceremony for 61 medical residents on June 26 at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Broward Health leaders, caregivers and employees gathered to congratulate the medical residents during the Graduate Medical Education celebration. The event was also broadcast to allow family and friends of the residents to witness the momentous occasion.
The residents will begin their training on July 1 in one of the 11 residency programs offered throughout the Broward Health system.
