June 2, 2022 – The Broward Health Foundation raised more than $900,000 at the Mohsin and Fauzia Jaffer Foundation ninth annual Broward Health Ball presented by DPR Construction.

This is the largest amount of money raised in the history of the Broward Health Ball, which was held May 14 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
The donations will further enhance patient care and services at Broward Health. Notable donations from the night included a $50,000 naming of the Cardiac Echo Lab at Broward Health Medical Center by Rita Case, and $25,000 contributions for naming rights of patient rooms in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Broward Health Medical Center by Ray Berry, a member of the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners; Dr. George and Amber Dreszer; Mohsin & Fauzia Jaffer Foundation; Beatriz and Albert Miniaci, and Dr. Tiffany Di Pietro and David Di Pietro, Esq.
NBC 6 anchor Jawan Strader served as the emcee for the record-breaking fundraiser.

More than 600 people attended the exhilarating “Night of Cirque” event, which was emceed by NBC 6 anchor Jawan Strader.
