As CMO and a member of the senior leadership team, Dr. Ta will serve as a business and clinical strategist responsible for the overall direction and coordination of medical affairs system-wide.

A physician executive with more than 12 years of leadership experience, Dr. Ta has served as chief medical officer for Florida International University’s College of Medicine, associate chief medical officer at Jackson Medical Group and Physician Services, and as an attending physician at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.
Most recently, Dr. Ta was with South Miami CritiCare Inc. as an attending physician for West Kendall Baptist Hospital’s Emergency Department, and served as a physician clinical reviewer for NIA Magellan Health overseeing utilization, productivity and quality review.
Dr. Ta holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Dallas and a Doctorate in medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He later completed his emergency medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Ta also earned an MBA in health care administration from the University of Miami, is a certified physician executive and fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
