3.Free Skin Screening event by Jason Green, DO, dermatologist on Wednesday, August 29th from 5-6:30PM in Broward Health North’s Cancer Center a.Under the South Florida sun, not even the most effective sunscreen can keep us safe from all sun-related skin damage. In fact, skin cancer is more prevalent here than anywhere else in the country. That’s why Broward Health North is offering a FREE skin cancer screening. The procedure is quick, painless and FREE, but due to high demand, it’s by appointment only.

Join us for this free public training event to become trained, equipped and empowered to help save lives in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Learn how to apply tourniquets, pack wounds, check seals and more. 9am-9:30am is registration and continental breakfast. 9:30-11:30am includes stop the bleed overview by Igor Nichiporenko, MD, medical director of trauma services at Broward Health North and hands-on training.
