January 1, 2026 – Broward Health has welcomed its first baby of the new year. Iris Derilus, an 8-pound, 6-ounce baby girl, was born at Broward Health Medical Center at 7:26 a.m. on January 1, 2026. Iris is the second child of her parents, Fridline Merone and Berno Derilus of Coral Springs.
