Broward Regional Health Planning Council Names New Chair of the Board of Directors

David L. Hughes has been named Chair of the Board of Directors of the Broward Regional Health Planning Council, Inc. David has served as a member of the Board in many different capacities.

David is the Chief Operating Officer of University Hospital and Medical Center. He served as the Chief Financial Officer at a fellow HCA affiliated facility, Plantation General Hospital. David has more than seventeen years of healthcare experience, with leadership positions for the last fourteen years.
