The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics are preparing to open a new clinic in Palm Beach County this summer now that they have been awarded a “New Access Point” grant from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The $650,000 annual grant will enable the Brumback Clinics to proceed with operating the new clinic location in western Lake Worth-Greenacres, which has been identified as an underserved area with limited access to primary care services.“We are grateful to HRSA for this grant which brings with it the opportunity to expand access to medical care for adults and children in the community, regardless of their ability to pay,” said Ronald J. Wiewora, MD, MPH, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer of the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, which owns and operates the Brumback Clinics. “Thanks to this generous grant, we can further strengthen the health care safety net in Palm Beach County.”
