CAC-Florida Medical Centers has expanded its roster of physicians with the addition of three board certified medical practitioners.
Jose Nicolas Aponte, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining CAC, Dr. Aponte was a hospitalist physician at Baptist Hospital and South Miami Hospital. Dr. Aponte has written publications on The Cardiac Findings of Children Affected by Congenital Rubella and Cholesterol Levels in Patients with Colon Cancer. Dr. Aponte received his degree in medicine from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
Leslie M. Greene, M.D., M.P.H. is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Medical Association and the American Board of Family Medicine. Prior to joining CAC, Dr. Green was in private practice in Orlando. He has also been an adjunct professor at Essex County College in Newark, NJ and a senior registrar at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Dr. Green received his degree in medicine from the University of Medicine in Varna, Bulgaria. He also holds a masters in public health degree from Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria.
Jorge Loredo, D.O. is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining CAC, Dr. Loredo was in private practice in Miami Beach. He is currently a clinical assistant professor and a member of the Selection Committee for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has also served as clinical assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Loredo received his degree in medicine from Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, Fl. Dr. Loredo was awarded Intern of the Year 2001-2002 and Resident of the Year 2003-2004 from the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
