Boca Raton-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America® Global, Inc. (CTCA) announced the appointment of Ankur R. Parikh, D.O., as Medical Director of Precision Medicine.
Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, Dr. Parikh earned an osteopathic medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed an internal medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a hematology-oncology fellowship at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He has served as a principal and associate investigator for clinical research protocols involving targeted therapies, immunotherapy, myelodysplastic syndrome and aplastic anemia.
