April 19, 2022 – The Maroone Cancer Center at Cleveland Clinic’s Weston Hospital welcomes Candice Schwartz, MD.

Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Schwartz’s clinical interests include: breast and gynecologic oncology; chemoprevention; chemotherapy; clinical cancer genetics; clinical trials.

Upon earning her medical degree at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, Dr. Schwartz completed the internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was honored as Chief Fellow.

“Dr. Schwartz brings her specialized knowledge and experience to our expert multidisciplinary oncology team at Maroone Cancer Center,” said Rodolfo J. Blandon, MD, MBA, President of Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. “Her skills and interest will help us provide the highest quality customized treatment option for each patient.”

Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology Group. She has authored more than 10 articles, publications and presentations on hematology/oncology topics.
