Dr. Lauren A. Huntress is a vascular surgeon on staff at St. Mary’s, and West Boca Medical Centers. She has been with the Palm Beach Health Network since 2023, joining the
Prime Vascular Institute, a vascular and endovascular surgery practice founded by Dr. Joseph
Ricotta. Dr. Huntress graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Hispanic Studies from Boston College and earned her Master of Biomedical Sciences from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2018, she graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School earning her Doctor of Medicine, where she also completed her Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency. In 2022, she became a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) for performing, reading, and interpreting vascular ultrasound.
Dr. Huntress is Board Certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery. Her favorite part of being a vascular surgeon is providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for a wide variety of complex pathologies and giving patients back their quality of life.
