Cardiology Profiles – Hialeah Hospital

Dr. Javier Reyna is a member of the medical staff at Hialeah Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiogram and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Reyna did an Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba. Dr. Reyna is an award recipient of the Paul J. Furlong in Internal Medicine. Dr. Reyna has been published in The Journal of Heart Disease. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. His interests are reading, teaching, travel and sports.

 

 

Dr. Francisco Dieguez is an interventional cardiologist who is a member if the medical staff at Hialeah Hospital. His areas of interest are nuclear cardiology imaging and echocardiographic interpretation. Dr. Dieguez has performed more than one thousand cardiac catherizations, percutaneous interventions and transophageal echocardiograms throughout his career. He completed his fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a graduate of Universidad central del Este, Dominican Republic and of Florida International University. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
