Dr. Michael Halista is an interventional and structural cardiologist with Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group and is on staff at Delray Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center. He specializes in minimally invasive, catheter-based treatments for coronary artery disease and complex valvular heart conditions, helping patients access advanced therapies with shorter recovery times.
Dr. Halista is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. His clinical expertise includes transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacement, left atrial appendage closure, percutaneous coronary intervention, and other complex coronary and structural heart procedures.
Actively involved in cardiovascular research, Dr. Halista has published in leading medical journals and presented nationally on topics including structural interventions, advanced heart failure, and circulatory support devices. Originally from Massachusetts, he earned his medical degree from Columbia University and completed advanced cardiology training at Mount Sinai, NYU, and the University of North Carolina.
