Kushagra Katariya, M.D., FACS, a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in adult cardiothoracic surgery including minimally invasive heart valve and structural heart procedures recently joined the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group – Cardiovascular Care network.

Prior to joining the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group, Dr. Katariya served as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tuscon Medical Center and worked as a cardiothoracic surgeon with Pima Heart Physicians in Tuscon, AZ.

For his education and training, Dr. Katariya completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery from Jackson Memorial Medical Center/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Katariya also served as chief resident during his thoracic surgery residency and finished his internship in general surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine located in New York, NY. He graduated medical school from the University of Delhi, India. Dr. Katariya has been practicing medicine since 1989. In addition, Dr. Katariya has presented his cardiothoracic surgery research nationally and internationally at numerous heart conferences and meetings, been published in several medical journals and participated as principal investigator in numerous research trials.
