June 13, 2023 — Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today it has completed the previously announced divestiture of Apixio, a leading artificial intelligence platform that enables value-based care, to New Mountain Capital.
“We are confident this transaction will best position Apixio to expand its impact as a leading artificial intelligence platform that enables value-based care programs across the country,” said Centene’s Chief Executive Officer, Sarah M. London. “The close of this transaction and our ongoing partnership with Apixio are a reflection of our continued execution against our long-term strategy and value creation efforts.”
Centene acquired Apixio in December 2020. The company expects the transaction to be neutral to 2023 adjusted EPS.
