December 4 2019 – Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) has announced the addition of Dr. Helena Gaviria to its Primary Care Center.
 
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Gaviria is a fellow member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is part of the Chapters for Obesity, Children with Disabilities and Integrative Nutrition. Her passion for nutrition and wellness inspired her to also complete a certification as a health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2017. 
 
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Gaviria received her medical degree from Instituto De Ciencias De La Salud, CES in Medellin, Colombia in 2008. She completed her pediatric residency at the Lincoln Medical and Health Center, affiliated with Weil Cornell College in New York.
 
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Gaviria join our team,” said Ana E. Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D., executive director of CDTC. “The additional perspective she brings helps Dr. Gaviria educate our children and families on a healthier lifestyle in relation to treating complex medical needs.”
