March 7 2022 – Jessica Vones, director of development with Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC), was recently honored by 211 Broward as the 2022 Development Executive Leader of the Year. Vones was recognized at the 11th Annual Community Care Plan Nonprofit Awards that celebrated Broward County’s preeminent nonprofit leaders for their dedication and impact on the community.

“Jessica goes above and beyond and embodies the spirit and mission of CDTC every day,” said Ana Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D., executive director of Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center. “She has truly exceeded all expectations throughout the pandemic, and I could not be prouder.”

Vones was singled out for her compassion, dedication, fundraising talents and extraordinary efforts toward promoting access to quality healthcare for local children and youth with special health care needs.

“I am incredibly honored to be recognized for CDTC’s fundraising efforts this past year, but I cannot do it alone,” Vones said. “I am inspired every day by our heroic frontline teams and, of course, the families we serve. We have an incredible board of directors and dedicated donors and volunteers who believe wholeheartedly in our mission and are always there to answer my call. As a mom, it brings me great joy to inspire our community to dig deep to support moms and families in need of a little hope.”
