Cleveland Clinic Florida has expanded its Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) from two beds to four beds, with two additional mobile units to improve access for patients. The newly expanded EMU allows Cleveland Clinic Florida to monitor patients with epilepsy symptoms 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in order to diagnose their condition. The EMU is equipped with the most advanced technology and is fully staffed with epilepsy specialists.
