Gastroenterologist Gavin Harewood, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. After earning his medical degree from the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland, Dr. Harewood completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and a residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation. He also completed a residency at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Dr. Harewood’s specialty interests include ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease, colon cancer screening and management, and pancreatic disease. He provides comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with digestive disorders.
