Gastroenterologist João Serigado, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.
Dr. Serigado completed his medical education at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa in Portugal. He then moved to the United States and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He further pursued postgraduate training with a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Dr. Serigado has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating various gastrointestinal conditions and performing endoscopic procedures. He has special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease and motility disorders.
