Gastroenterologist George Khoudari, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health and brings a multicultural perspective to his practice. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he received his medical degree from the University of Aleppo School of Medicine in Syria. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Unity Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Rochester in New York, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Khoudari is proficient in both English and Arabic, which enhances his ability to serve a diverse patient population. His clinical interests are broad and include eosinophilic esophagitis, liver diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, and advanced endoscopic procedures. Dr. Khoudari is committed to colorectal cancer screening and prevention, as well as the management of inflammatory bowel diseases and functional GI disorders such as GERD, diarrhea and constipation. His approach to patient care is comprehensive, compassionate, and tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
