The Lantern Award showcases Emergency Departments’ (ED) accomplishments in the areas of team communication and innovative approaches to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. This award underscores commitment to prompt, efficient, and safe treatment that meets the highest standards of quality. Cleveland Clinic Martin South’s ED implemented a “pull to full” strategy, optimizing staffing to promptly attend to patient needs upon arrival.
