Board-certified gastroenterologist Roberto Gonzalez, M.D., has joined Cleveland Clinic Tradition HealthPark One in Port St. Lucie. Dr. Gonzalez earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and completed his residency in internal medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY. He then went on to complete two fellowships: one in digestive diseases at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY; and another in advanced endoscopy at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. These specialized fellowships allowed him to gain expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal conditions and performing advanced endoscopic procedures.
With dual board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology, Dr. Gonzalez is highly trained in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, from common issues such as acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome to more complex conditions requiring advanced interventions.
