June 16, 2020 – Silvia Tse Bunting, MD has joined the Department of Pathology at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston.
Dually licensed in Florida and Georgia, Dr. Bunting specializes in diagnosing diseases and disorders affecting blood cells and organs, and tissues such as bone marrow, the spleen and thymus. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and the American Board of Pathology in Hematopathology. 

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Weston, Dr. Bunting was Hematopathologist and Director of Flow Cytometry Service in the Department of Pathology at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Bunting earned a bachelor of medicine degree from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China and a master of sciences degree from the University of Toronto, Canada. She completed a research fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital’s Ontario Cancer Institute in Toronto and a residency in pathology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Bunting also completed a number of fellowships, including a hematopathology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and surgical pathology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, in Cleveland, Ohio.
