October 8, 2019 – Clinics Can Help, a grassroots nonprofit organization started in a garage in Palm Beach County has served over 12,000 children and adults in its 10 years of full time service. Now, the organization is excited to announce a momentous achievement, the awarding of a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest charity evaluator.

To achieve the coveted 4-star mark, the charity must show excellence in financial health, accountability and transparency. Clinics Can Help earned top scores across every metric for its sound financial practices and for making the most impactful decisions with every dollar it receives.

“This makes me proud!” reported Owen O’Neill, Clinics Can Help’s Founder and CEO. “We’ve put in a lot of hard work to be at this level of impact and effectiveness.  It’s always been our goal to be one of the most respected charities in Palm Beach County!  Helping people is what we’re all about.  This is icing on the cake.  Only it’s good icing and really good cake!” he said.  “I promise the people of Palm Beach County we will always strive to be worthy of this four-star rating!”

Founded in 2005, Clinics Can Help engages a model of organized recycling to ensure that every child and adult in Palm Beach County can get the medical equipment they need for a fast recovery, protection from injury and the mobility, independence and dignity for a quality level of life.

In addition to their main mission, Clinics Can Help runs the KINDER Project which provides new and customized medical equipment for children with special needs, and a CRIBS program that provides new pack ‘n play cribs for newborn and infant children whose families cannot afford a safe sleep environment. The organization works to provide access to a critical part of medical care that often gets overlooked or falls to the wayside due to costs.
