The Florida Dietetic Association (FDA) recently selected Consuelo Silva Weinstein for the FDAs 2008 Dietetic Technician of the Year. She has an A.S. from Palm Beach Community college in Dietetic tech and an A.A.S. in dental hygiene from New York community college. Currently she works as and administrative Dietetic Technician at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
Weinstein is committed to advancing the profession of Dietetics and is a strong advocate for the American Dietetic Association, Florida Dietetic Association and Palm Beach Dietetic Association (PBDA). She has been instrumental in increasing PDA membership and has been an active and supportive participant in PBDA community activities including manning the hotline and participating in local fundraising efforts.
