September 22 2020 – Coral Gables Hospital proudly honors pulmonologist, Dr. Jaime Avecillas, as the hospital’s Physician of the Second Quarter for 2020. Dr. Avecillas was nominated because his colleagues describe him as highly engaged, and he is beloved by both staff and patients. Dr. Avecillas was presented with a plaque in recognition of his outstanding service, commitment and dedication to caring for patients. “Dr. Avecillas is recognized for his outstanding service, commitment and dedication to provide compassionate care to the community members who need us most,” said Cristina Jimenez, hospital CEO.
